Internalized categorism

Categorism against oneself. The most famous focus being “internalized homophobia”, such as a gay man believing negative stereotypes about himself and hating himself for it. (In Swedish: internaliserad kategorism)

The concept of categorism being internalized is not in itself a facet, focus or abstraction of categorism, but a related concept. It could arguably be considered a level of categorism.
