As one of the six levels of categorism, Individual level refers to the internal reality of what happens within a person. And also to how this is expressed by the individual. This level includes categorism against others as well as internalized categorism. It does not include participation in groups, discourses, and so on, since that is included in those levels instead.

Groups consists of individuals and discourses are built by individuals. This means that the individual level is the basic level that the other levels are built on, not that all levels are the individual level.
