Antisemitism
From Categorism.com
Categorism focused on targeting Jews. (In Swedish: antisemitism)
May be a form of racism, a form of religism or both. Historically, antisemitism was the main conduit through which racism grew from religism: Gradually replacing notions of "Christian faith" versus "Jewish faith" with "Christian blood" versus "Jewish blood".
This is a focus of categorism, a targeting focus within the categorization focus known as religism.
Examples of foci expressed through this focus
- Category Agency: Conspiracy theories about "the Jews" having certain plans, up to and including the paranoid delusion that all Muslims in the world are secret agents for a shadowy global "Zionist Occupation Government".
- Category original sin: Arguing that all Jewish people are personally guilty of murdering Jesus Christ.
- Collective Guilt: The perhaps most classic concept of collective guilt is the idea that all Jews are somehow guilty of crucifying Jesus.
- Conspirationalism: When people are bigoted against a certain religion (in this case Judaism), they may view some religious people gathering together (for prayer, or simply for a regular dinner) as if it was a part of some sinister plot.
