False universalization

Presenting a certain demographic or context as if it was universal. Often goes hand in hand with foci of kyriarchy, as the dominant category gets treated as if it was universal.

The Universal United States of America

With the USA being a dominant faction within the global system of apartwelt, this nation tends to be treated (not only by americans, but also by others) to a sometimes frihteningly high degree. For example, In discourse about racism the terms "white" and "black" tends to be used in ways which would make them nonsensical if they meant anything other than "USA citizen of exclusively caucasian heritage" and "USA citizen of African heritage" respectively.
